Calling Columbus, Ohio home, guitarist and vocalist, Chris Bullwinkle, sets a musical recipe that would call for a bit of jazz and some blues with a dash of pop.  Performing covers that range from Paul Simon to Jason Mraz to Weezer, Chris looks to cover the spectrum in his music performances, which highlight strong vocals and rhythmic guitar in a “laid back and personal” manner.

Currently working on expanding his musical repertoire and recording tracks in the comfort of his home, Chris embraced a calling to share his talents, having the opportunity to perform in front of crowds at The Ohio State Fair, the Worthington Farmer's Market, the North Market, the Bexley Farmers Market, the Easton Farmers Market and local Columbus coffee shops and bars.

Born and raised in Sanborn, NY, a small suburb of Niagara Falls, Chris grew up on sounds from Neil Diamond, Simon and Garfunkel, The Manhattan Transfer and Elvis Presley, to name a few.  After years of being strictly a vocalist and performing in groups and as a soloist, Chris picked up the guitar and hasn’t looked back.  Learning on his father’s old guitar, he continuously worked on new techniques and music to broaden his  horizon’s.  “Once I knew I was truly interested and was getting decent at the guitar, I decided to step up the game,” stated Bullwinkle.  From there, he started playing local open sessions and recorded a short demo cd for friends and family.

In 2017, Chris joined forces with Joel Wildermuth (guitar and Vocals) and Jeff Klukas (percussion) to create a three piece band, adding more depth and variation to the music he plays.  "We all have fun making music together and it shows in the music we produce" said Chris.

Chris Bullwinkle shows that having a passion for something can make it fun.  He strives to convey that feeling in his music and share his talents with others.  Chris concluded that, “It’s time to reach out, make people smile and help everyone have a good time.”
